This is a new song idea written about my recent trip to Honduras and reflection on the opportunities and the conveniences I have comparatively to every day life for people in that country. The song is about the atmosphere at my work that I appreciate, and it's about realizing that you don't need very much to live happy. The video is just some random clips around the town I was staying in, in Honduras.
The trip also gave me a lot of time to reflect on my music. It's been a slow progression of confidence and creativity that has gotten me to the point where I'm ready to invest money into a professional sounding album for myself.
I've decided to set up my own pre-order page in the style of a Kickstarter campaign.
All money raised will directly offset the expense of booked studio time, art design costs, professional mastering of the album, duplication of physical hard copies, and art designs.
You can order with a credit card or paypal account on my site. It would mean the world to me if you supported my album and picked up a copy in advance.
lyrics
What you need now is some fruit for the babies
What you need now isn't all that much
What you need now is a face to touch
I know that you'll be, be around for mex2
It's all right
We're all right now
What you need now is an extra set of hands
What you need now is just around the way
What you want
is just what you got
I know that you'll be, be around for me x4
When you lose your place
and you eventually will
remember where you came from
and where you got your fill
I had the honor of saying that I was in a online collaboration band, With Daniela Andrade. She has perhaps the best voice, I've ever heard, and her 1 Million+ Youtube subscribers seem to agree. David LeDuc
